Suriname's cultural landscape is layered and rich — a meeting place of Indigenous peoples, Maroon communities, and many other cultures who have shaped the country's visual language over centuries. Our pieces are inspired by motifs, silhouettes, and stories that speak to this shared heritage.
Made with respect
We do not claim ownership over the symbols and traditions that inspire us. Our designs are interpretations made with care, in collaboration with local craftspeople, and offered as keepsakes that celebrate Suriname.
Stories carved in wood
Each piece — whether a map of Suriname, a butterfly motif, or a hand-finished plaque — is made to be passed on. Wood ages beautifully and carries the marks of its maker.
